Becoming a B-Corp
Here’s the thing…The worst thing in the world for me is asking for money…I don’t know why…Probably some deep psychological scar from childhood…Let’s cut to the chase and blame my Mother…I’m sure she’d appreciate that. As far as I can remember she was a perfectly fine mother. I was well cared for and loved, but we need someone to blame and mothers traditionally are good for that. Ah Life…Just Joking!
So here I am asking for your support....

Commercially I am a Photographer, Videographer, Editor, Publisher, Social Media Enthusiast, Blogger, Webmaster, Multi-Media Communicator and Photoshop Expert.
I use my gifts and talents to support social causes that speak to my heart.
I mostly work for 501c3 Charities that are aiding in helping people and animals live better lives. This is a passion / obsession of mine. When I stop to think about it this is the source of great happiness and joy in my life, but also the cause of almost constant distress of some kind or another. The work I do is long hours, difficult subject matters and tedious. Having said all that, there’s nothing I’d rather do. The small bits of progress and quite often “happy ending” stories that also go with the work I do make my life interesting and rewarding.
I have for some time had a dream that my company ZencomMedia. http://ZencomMedia.com (Named after my dog Zen) could be a 501c3 like my friends and co-workers…If this were true I could raise resources
(See I just did it again…not asking for $$$) so that I could raise funds on a project to project basis.
Whether I was producing a PSA (Public Service Announcement) for an Animal Rescue Group or World Peace Action Group or Sustainability Project. My passion is documentary style video. I quite often find the resources to film wonderful humanitarian subjects, but the affordability to spend the time necessary to edit becomes problematic. I look forward that when I am approached asked to work for worthy charities I can tell them yes without the guilt of invoicing the charity and having to deplete their scarce resources. THEY NEED THEIR $$$ for THEIR Charity.
My dream creates a Win-Win situation.

B Lab is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that serves a global movement of entrepreneurs using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. B Lab serves these entrepreneurs through three interrelated initiatives that provide them the legal infrastructure and help them attract the customers, talent, and capital to scale.
The resources collect here is for lawyers and filing fees to set up our B-Corp
