Donna Martin Graduates! Benefit

The Blaze with Lizzie & Kat! Podcast, in association with Sucker Love Productions, presents “Donna Martin Graduates! ” — a live staged reading of the seminal Beverly Hills, 90210 season three episode “Something in the Air”.  Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.

THE GEENA DAVIS INSTITUTE ON GENDER IN MEDIA

Founded by Academy Award-winning actor and advocate Geena Davis, the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media is the only research-based organization working within the media and entertainment industry to engage, educate, and influence the need to dramatically improve gender balance, reduce stereotyping, and create diverse female characters in entertainment targeting children 11 and under.
·         Pioneered and amassed the largest body of research on gender prevalence in family entertainment covering over 25 years
·         68% of entertainment industry executives familiar with the Institute’s research changed two or more projects
·         Influenced change in major feature films including Pixar’s Monster’s University, Sony’s Hotel Transylvania, and upcoming film The Little Prince

·         JFS provides over 450 Survivors of the Holocaust with financial assistance for services ranging from utility bills, rent, transportation, and medical costs
