Greene
Hello, my name is Keenan Dailey I am an artist from Peoria, IL and student at the University of Illinois. In January of 2017 I began writing the script for the film Greene with the intention of making the most professional film possible.
The film tells a post-black story about a black art gallery owner, that revolves around depression, love, loss, emotion, and spirituality. The goal of the film was to create a psychological drama that explores emotionality and the transference of emotion.
After 7 months of blood, sweat, and tears I have finally finished the film with the help of many wonderful and amazing people along the way and with the completion of the film I am excited to bring it to the world.
This is where I need help, I am starting this crowdfunding campaign in order to help me supplement or cover the cost of film festival submission fees and their potential travel expenses. In the long run I would like to be able to distribute the film through an online streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. However to do this effectively I want to first be able to run through the "film festival circuit" so to speak in order to get the film out to the eyes of the world.
