NAMI-2018 Walk of Mental Health

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)-Shenandoah Valley is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education, and advocacy!

We are proud to be hosting our annual Walk-A-Thon for Mental Health on Saturday, October 6, 2018, 9:30AM at the Frederick County, VA Fairgrounds.  This Walk-A-Thon will benefit individuals, their families and others affected by mental illness in the City of Winchester and the
counties of Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah, Warren, and Page.

This event is our biggest of the year and brings together family members, community leaders, neighbors, and friends to raise
crucial funds for NAMI’s unique programs, promote awareness of mental illness, and celebrate recovery.
100%!!!  of the funds raised go to providing cost free NAMI NSV Support groups, Educational classes, and anti-stigma Advocacy community presentations that can lead to mental health
recovery right here in our very own community.

All are welcome, but if you are unable to attend the WALK, you may send your tax-deductible contribution to
