I wrote a script!
I raised some money for production!
I casted some great actors!
I filmed the movie!
I wrapped on filming!
I edited!
I completed my first feature film!
Now what???
FILM FESTIVALS!!! :D
A film festival run is the next step for serious filmmakers in order to have the opportunity to get your film seen by industry professionals with an added hope of possibly getting distribution, but at the very least networking and building an audience for your film.
By Gods grace I raised a little over $5,000 dollars on my previous crowd funding campaign falling just short of our $7,000 goal, however WE STILL made the movie! :) I just want you to realize that your donation (no matter the amount) will aid in getting this film submitted to festivals even if we don't reach our $3,000 goal. It will STILL get done! How do I know? Because our God is THAT Good! :)
So the break down of what we are asking for is really quite simple. Each film festival we submit to has a fee ranging anywhere from $25.00 to over $100.00. There are over 40 Faith-based film festivals in the U.S. We want to submit to all of them, or at least as many as we can. Think of it this way, for every $25.00 to $100.00 you can donate, you are directly submitting this movie to a film festival!
Your funds simply help us have the opportunity to get our film seen and possibly get a distribution deal. If that were to happen, that would allow us to possibly raise enough money from the film alone to then begin to fund future films.
If you are a current fan of our work, please don't hesitate and leave what you can. If you are new to our work, but you like the teaser trailer, and like what we are doing, please support with your donation.
Please DO NOT think your donation is too small. Leave what you can, and just watch God take care of the rest! :)
