Saving Ryan Morris

Donation protected

Join twin Brother Ronald, Aunt Monica, and Great-Aunt Olivia--three generations of Ryan Morris' biological family in fighting for guardianship to set Ryan free from undue manipulation and control and allow him to visit with his family.  This fundraiser is for continued legal representation in helping us help Ryan...

The above picture is the last birthday the twins celebrated together freely at the age of seven in San Clemente.  Ryan is now 23 years old and was born with cerebral palsy.  He is the beloved son, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and brother to an incredibly large family.

Ryan’s last weekend visit with us ended after a pre-Christmas celebration in San Juan Capistrano early December 2015 where he was enthralled with the Angel at ZOOMAR's, caressing her wings, repeating over and over again, "You are the most beautiful Angel I've ever seen!"

The next day Ryan phoned me asking if I was going to "pick him up for Christmas," when his husband interfered with Ryan’s ability to reach out to his family for a visit by exerting that he "already had plans" and hung up the phone.

Ryan was evaluated by professionals to have the mental capacity of a child over the last several years and was married to his adopted mother's employee, a person who is almost twice his age.

As seen in the brief video below, his then co-conservator who is marrying him asks to repeat after her, the adopted mother's staff who conducted the ceremony:
"I Ryan..." she says.
Instead Ryan asks, "What is this?"
Ryan adds, "I've never done this before."
His soon to be husband says, "You are getting married to me."
Ryan adds, "I'm not used to this."
His co-conservator says " . . . okay, do you want to just put the ring on his finger . . . tell him you want to be his husband forever?"
Ryan reponds by saying, "Baptized in the name of Jesus!"
His soon to be husband exclaims twice, "It's not a baptism.  It's a wedding.  It's not a baptism. It's a wedding."

According to Ryan's spouse, he and Ryan met when Ryan was only 17 years old.  They were married when Ryan was 20 and he was 37.  Today he serves as Ryan’s legal guardian and has reported that Ryan has become a passenger to his long-distance truck driver's job where they are living on the road about 90% of the time.

Join this campaign to continue providing legal representation on behalf of Ryan’s loving identical twin brother and biological family in our petition to set Ryan free.  Ryan deserves a better life and we thank you for making any size donation, for all of your prayers and support!!!
