Help Support Dan Christianson

My brother, Dan, is a walking miracle.  On March 12, 2015 - Dan was riding his bicycle when he had what should have been a life-ending heart attack.  Apparently God had other reasons for this happening - as He has allowed Dan to still be with us.  There is no doubt in our minds that God was in control of it all. Dan had passed some teenage boys on a trail on his bike, it was just after that when he had his heart attack. In the process of the heart attack - he hit a tree head-on.  The boys heard the crash and went to see what happened.  As they came upon him, they noticed he was not breathing and one of them started CPR, and while another called 911 - those boys saved his life!  The neighbor across the street was an EMT who continued CPR, and a police officer was also on the scene shortly after the 911 call came in and took over for CPR until the ambulance arrived. 

Not only did Dan have the heart attack - which left his heart very weak - he also suffered affects from hitting the tree and lack of oxygen to his brain.  He has been undergoing intensive physical, occupational and speech therapies to help him regain his daily living functioning and improve the memory loss that resulted from the trauma.  He also now begins Cardiac Rehab - to work towards strengthening his heart again.

As a result of these injuries - Dan has been unable to work - and will be unable to return to work in the foreseeable future.  He has a disability plan through work, but it will not even come close to paying the mounting medical bills - not to mention the regular monthly bills that we all have.  I feel such a burden to help him in any way I can.  There have been some very generous people who have sent money to them – and it has been SO greatly appreciated – but they need more help than that.  Please join me in helping my brother – who has spent his life helping others.  God has used so many people in SO many ways through this experience – please let Him use YOU too!
