Tyler was born on June 14th, 2000. Twenty eight hours after he was born, his parents found out they were parents to a CHD baby. He has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which is a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. As Tyler developed through pregnancy, the left side of his heart did not form correctly. He only has 1/2 a heart. He has had 4 open heart surgeries and countless heart cath surgeries over the last fifteen years. After his last open heart surgery, he developed P.L.E. (protein losing enteropathy) and they put a hole in his heart to take the pressure down. This helped up until April 2014 when a large blood clot was found in the lower left chamber of his heart. His P.L.E. has returned with many more complications. Unfortunately, he is in heart failure and now needs a new heart. He is currently on Milwaukee's
heart transplant list as a 1A. (Top of the list).  HE GOT HIS CALL ON November 23rd 2015. He got his new heart on November 24th.  Tyler did ok coming out of surgery, each day  more and more problems begin to happen. On Monday early morning around 3:00 a.m. he started to have STV's then his heart stopped they did CPR for 60 mins. They got him on life support and echmo. He has bleeding in his chest since doing CPR. He had surgery on November 8th he had another surgery to stop the bleeding. The got some of the bleeding to stop.   Then he was on to CT to see brain activity. Then we will got from there.  We found out on Tuesday December 8th that Tyler was brain dead from the length of CRP. He got his his angles wings that day. Now we are left lots medical bills and funerals costs. Tyler’s heart condition, it is taking a toll on the family finances.
