Dustin and Travis bought this land known as a “sand pit” in Rochester Massachusetts, with intentions of creating a farm. With limited funds, progress has been slow but it’s coming together! Dustin and Travis spent a lot of time building a barn which is not yet finished, as well a chicken coop. Dustin and his girlfriend Emily created a space for medicinal herbs and vegetables, and Travis has cleared spots for future pastures. Starting a farm is alot more work than anticipated, and not having an abundance of funds makes it's difficult. With the help of generous people we could make this into the farm that we want to sooner than we hoped! We are 20 something year olds trying to keep the “right to farm” alive in the community by providing fresh herbs and vegetables and animals to graze and roam as they please!
