My name is Jason and I'm Jake Booth's older brother. Our very special father, husband, brother, son, vet and friend Jake Booth needs your help. Even though Jake is AWAKE he's got a long way to go before he's out of danger. He needs a lot of physical therapy for everything from his speech, writing his name and even just walking to working on his memory loss and dialysis 3 times a week. So please don't think that just because things have moved from negative to positive that he doesn't need your help with a donation today. Even a single dollar will help him and his family and will go a long way to paying some of his medical bills, purchase medical equipment he'll need in his home and future therapy.

Jake is AWAKE! Jake woke up after 48 days in a coma on April 3rd.
Jake had been in the ICU on life support at Tampa General since 2/24/16 and before that at NHC in Naples since 2/22/16.
Jake came down with a bad case of Bronchitis that turned into Pneumonia which turned into Double Pneumonia after failing to finish his antibiotics. Jake quickly deteriorated and was left in a medically induced coma. He was on life support as he was unable to process oxygen with his lungs and his other organs had failed including his heart, liver and kidneys.
Biography:
Jake was born in St. Louis in 8/8/1980. He moved with myself and our parents to Minnesota and attended school in Burnsville, Mn before he graduated from Prior Lake High in 1997. He attended the University of Minnesota before joining the Army.
After the Army he moved to Estero, FL and currently resides there. He is a former Collier County Sheriffs Deputy and current computer programmer.
Jake is the father to 6 year old Eva and 10 month old Aiden and married to the amazing Jasmine. All 3 of them need Jake back and we need your help to get him back on his feet again.
