Wheels for Devon

I am a single mother of 2 children ages 12  and 9. My 9 year old son has many challenges. He has cerebral palsy,a feeding tube,a seizure disorder,developmentally delayed,has had multiple surgeries and other on going medical issues. Because of the cerebral palsy,Devon has to be in a wheelchair.Devon is now 63lbs and it is getting more of a challenge with lifting him in and out of his car seat. Despite all devon has gone thru, he is still a happy,smiling little boy.I have  set this page up for funds to be able to get a new wheelchair accessible van for devon. He has been approved for the Presidents choice funding which is for $20 000. This expires  the end of April.  To date we have $8820.16 fundraised. We need to fundraise $20,605  by the end of April to get what Devon needs.To have a wheelchair accessible van it will be make life much easier on all of us. It would mean no more of me having to lift him into his car seat.To be able to just push him into the van and strap him would save alot on my back and body and be safer for devon.Devon is a growing child and has a smile that just melts your heart. He loves his older brother Sean.
