Animation school for working father

Husband and father of 2 girls, Rhys Jones worked toward being an electrician while in high school. After investing 5 years of his life to become an electrician, Rhys realized that this really wasn't the job for him, and doesn't like the job he thought he would love, but it was too late to turn back.

Rhys spent the better part of his 20's in youth ministry at his church while working toward his electrical license. He eventually met his wife, but had to take a step back from youth ministry to support her while she watched both her parents die of cancer.

Now Rhys is finally able to pursue his dream of animation. He is an artist, creative, and musical individual, lover of films, storytelling, and of cartoons, especially "home movies", "dexters lab" and classic "looney tunes".

Rhys has been attending community college since 2013 to obtain. prerequisites to hopefully transfer to the Art Institute of Portland. But it is very difficult attending school while working full time at a job that causes him a lot of stress, anxiety, and sometimes depression, and supporting a home, wife and 2 kids.

Rhys only has enough time to take one class per term and is paying out of pocket. At this rate, it will be another two years before he will even be able to transfer.

Rhys is desperate. Unfortunately his job is the only thing he is trained for and it pays the bills, but it makes him miserable and he feels trapped. We are hoping this Gofundme is the miracle Rhys needs.
