Pick-Up Poet Tree

My name is Quindell Evans (Facebook name is Nuhva Nguvu which means more strength.). I am an underground (literally) artist who sings on the NYC subway trains as my form of income. I usually sing my original song "U Want 2 Smile" because I feel NYC subway goers need an uplift in those congested and crowded cars.

I was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Besides singing on the trains, I create literary games, activities and lessons that I feel are creative ways to allow people to learn. Please Help Me Raise The Funds To Publish Decks of "Pick-Up Poet Tree."

 2-6 players competing for 9 points in a 45 card deck. "Pick-Up Poet Tree" is an Educational Playing Card Game teaching players about poetic elements such as metaphor, simile, hyperbole, rhyme, alliteration, repetition, personification, oxymoron & onomatopoeia, while playing. Most appropriate for ages 10 & up, this game is designed for school students from middle school to college but may help people of all ages and places remain acquainted with their poetic and literary rhetoric.

Every dollar donated supports my dreams to share my artistry and allow art to be a tool for learning for everyone especially people in at-risk communities who need alternative teaching and pedagogy.
