1BTN IWD 2023 Fundraiser

Since 2018, the female and non-binary presenters of Brighton-based radio station 1BTN have gathered together for the International Women’s day takeover. Broadcasting for 24+ hours with a genre-spanning selection of incredible music, sung, written, produced and remixed by women. It gives the presenters an opportunity to celebrate and honour the women who have rocked their World through the power of their music and also a chance to raise vital funds for a local charity.

Once again, the 1BTN International Women’s Day Takeover will be fundraising for Sussex-based charity RISE. RISE stands for Refuge, Information, Support and Education and they have worked tirelessly since 1994 to end all forms of violence and abuse against women, their families and those identifying as LGBTQ+.
