Disaster Communications Ten Inc.

Dear Friends;

Disaster Communications Ten Incorporated is a 501.c.3 State and IRS registered non-profit the determination of which is to support and endow the Amateur Radio (group) servicing the Malibu/Lost Hills LASD Station Area.  This 20 year old non-profit (the Disaster Communications team has been in existence for over 50 years)  is in the process of raising moneys to re-furbish and replace existing emergency equipment whose life cycle is coming or has come to an end and requires private funding to replace it.  This includes a (new to us) emergency light trailer which will allow major donors or supporters to have their name or a name placed on the vehicle.  This piece of equipment is used by the LASD Ham Team to respond to plane and vehicle accidents, searches and crime scenes where the response team lights the area and maintains a vigil during hours of darkness.  In addition the corporation provides funding for the Castro Peak and Malibu Repeaters both in rent and equipment.  If during this holiday season 2012 you have the ability to make a donation into this Emergency Equipment Fund please do so.  It is tax deductible.
