West MI Outlaws 2013 Omaha Slumpbuster
The West Michigan Outlaws organization is based in and around Grandville, MI, a suburb of Grand Rapids. The 12U travel baseball team has a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the 2013 Omaha Slumpbuster Tournament in Omaha, NE. This tournament offers the team national exposure, an opportunity to see college world series games, trade team pins and basically spend 4 days living and breathing baseball.
As parents, we are committed to supporting our team in this amazing trip, however it will come at a heavy financial cost. Above and beyond our normal season tournament schedule, it is estimated that this tournament will cost nearly $2,000 per player. At 11 players, well, it adds up fast. While we are planning several local fundraisers, we know we will need lots of help to take our boys to Omaha. All money raised will go directly toward team expenses first. Any surplus above team costs will be divided equally among the players' families. Our goal is high, but so are our hopes.
We are offering Thank You gifts at various levels of support TBD in the coming months. Please don't let that stop you from contributing! Any amount is greatly appreciated. Check back for updates.
