Retired Paramedic Needs Back Surgery

Im Randy. Im a very active guy. I grew up at the beach and enjoyed many happy years of surfing and fishing. I became a Paramedic in 1989. I served the greater Los Angeles area for 20 years. In 2010 i had my first back injury. My lower lumbar disc was ruptured. I was in bed for months. I went thru decompression, lazer, and electrical therapy. Aquatic therapy. By 2011 i was starting to walk again although with pain. The doctor said the disc scared over and i should be ok. 2019 my disc ruptured again and this time i have disc degenerative disease. My surgeon in California wants to do spinal fusion. I did my research and fusion involves fusing your vertabra together and the pain is very bad. They will try to give me pain meds. I do not want to be addicted to pain meds It will cut my life short in the long run. I found a procedure called "Artificial Disc Replacement Surgery. Its in Germany. Its been done for 15 years. The USA wont do it because they are concerned about liability. The surgeon makes a small incision in the lower abdomen. He moves your organs aside. They go directly to the effected disc and remove it out of the spine. The take spreaders and spread your vertebrae apart. They put in a brand new disc made of metal plates and anchores into the vertebrae. The disc itself is a very hard and tough poly carbonate eurthane flexible disc. The secure the disc and close. Recovery is 4 days in The Bremmen Hospital outside of Berlin. You stay in Berlin for two more weeks for outpatient therapy . Success is in the high 90s%. I know i will have full movement no pain and i will get my life back. Its very expensive and thats my big problem. So im asking on your honor to help. I took care of the community for years. Now its my turn. Please help.
