Hi everyone!
I need to raise money to attend the Europa Cup as a member of support staff for one of our British wheelchair rugby teams! Through my attendance I hope to support the team both on and off court as well as making contact with other teams and organisations. As support staff I will assisting with players preparation and personal care as well as providing bench/mechanic support to the players. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the team as well as giving me more experience doing something I love!
The Europa Cup is an annual wheelchair rugby tournament held in Copenhagen, Denmark, and this year the East Midlands Marauders are attending. I have been working with the team since April 2012 and will be going as a member of the team's support staff.
The money raised will be used to pay for my flights and accommodation whilst out there with the team as well as the cost of my entry fee and uniform.
Please donate if possible and share my page with your friends and family to help me reach my goal of volunteering at this international tournament. In exchange for sponsorship I am able to offer publicity through the blog I am doing about this opportunity and through being able to offer to wear clothing/accessories/etc with your companies logos on when appropriate!
A breakdown of the costs:
£305 - tournament costs (fees, accommodation, transfers)
£100 - flight and bags (budget airline so you pay extra for luggage!)
£30 - uniform
£30 - subsistence
£35 - supplies/equipment (need to provide the best care/support!)
