Business of videography

Hey there! I'm Brandon, affectionately called BA, by my family. I'm a graduate of the University of Memphis with a focus in Film. I am a loving and working husband and father, and my goal is to start my very own media company that will allow me to fulfill my dream of living and working behind the camera as well as providing fruitfully for my family.

Filming has been my passion since my highschool football days. I played my heart and soul out for my team, but unfortunately I ended up in the hospital with a severe neck injury. I was unable to play for the rest of the season, but by God's grace I found a way to support my team through filming the games. After that...I was hooked. I've been filming everything from sports, weddings, movies & documentaries by local talented directors, commercials, and  jookin competitions, to my kid's crazy and memorable conversations. My highschool and college years consisted of me working at the local movie theatre as well. I just love being behind the camera and showing people my view of the world around me. During the last 5 years, I've gained more and more experience about not only the technical side of filming but also the business side of beginning a media company.

The 5,000 I need will go to buying equipment. Some of this equipment will include:

Canon rebel T4i

tripod

extra lens 

memory cards

memory card reader

Light kit

wireless lavalier microphones and more

This money will also help with traveling expenses as well as advertising and editing software.
