Hello there, welcome to my crowdfunding page! I am a young-ish artist who is looking to make a new leap in to a more creative and lucrative career where I can at last use my artistic abilities to make a living! After many years of going back and forth on how I could make use of my abilities in 3D design and modeling, exploring mostly in the field of video games, I eventually realize that the purely digital arena was not where I found my passion. I have longed to bring my digitals in to a more tangible arena.
Enter 3D Printing - new technology which allows you to print out 3D objects which you have designed digitally. At last, a niche!
Who shall desire to make use of this service I will provide? The answer lies in the place I started: the gaming community! However, instead of working on video games I will instead be pursuing the realm of table-tops, pen-and-paper, and miniatures, providing both many objects for model customization as well as a few ideas I have up my sleeve for constructable environments. I will also be able to make custom gifts for many people, the possibilities are endless!
Of course, besides this there are many other applications a 3D Printer will have!

The Micro 3D is a home-sized and designed 3D Printer which will allow me to create models up to 4.6", and with some tricks I can use this to create larger pieces as well! With this investment I will be able to operate a fully functional 3D printing business focused on the gaming and modeling world. I may also find other avenues as time goes on!
I am asking for assistance in funding this start-up for two reasons: 1) The Micro 3D is currently at a lower price which they express is going to be raised and I am unable to afford it on my current pay. 2) Crowdfunding will help me to get my career started faster and transition to a self-employed based lifestyle more easily due to the added resources and less strain on my current finances which are limited.
The amount of $800 that I am shooting for here will get me:

ABR-S Ink and PLA Filament - 18$ and 14$
