Clean Water for the Children in PAK

For most of us, we just turn on the tap and the clean water comes out. Majority of us are fortunate and have never really felt thirsty. And thankfully, we do not have to walk 3-5 miles to fill our water bucket. Yet there are more than 750 million people on our planet who do not have access to clean water. That is roughly one in every 9 people!

            Pakistan has the population of approximately 200 million. The local government neither has substantial nor comprehensive social and developmental services focusing on the clean water. In 2015, more than 400 children under the age of 10 died due to mal-nutrition and de-hydration. Children due to their weak immune systems are especially vulnerable to diseases arising out of unhygienic water such as diarrhoea, dysentery etc. Given the opportunity, we plan to install the plant which has the capacity to produce 2000 Litres of water per hour at the one-time cost of USD 9,800$/= Once installed the plant can run up to 10 years without any hassle. It can also support one household with its proceeds. 

Grace Foundation was established in April 1987. After receiving M.Div. from S. Korea, God fulfilled the vision he had planted in Rev. Altaf Khan and his wife Kim Mi Kyeong (South Korean). Grace Foundation has established over 30 Churches and has been successfully operating 10 small schools and 1 medical facility. We have a team of around 50 pastors, 70 evangelists, and over 100 volunteers who are walking the talk of being Good Samaritan in various parts of Pakistan.

            Clean water is one of the basic necessities of life which we often take it for granted. Clean water requires proper distribution, sanitation, and pumping systems. If granted, with the help of professionals and engineers we will install the water plants and provide easy access to the locals.

The estimated budget of one clean water plant project which can be installed in one room in any residential area is approximately less then USD 10,000$. The pictures of the installed Machines/Plants are also attached with this file. Given the opportunity, we can install these plants in the slum areas of major cities or in different Villages of Pakistan. We can install in different areas of Punjab where water is not clean.

 By providing clean water to everyone irrespective of any race, religion, color, or creed; we can create a healthy and peaceful atmosphere.  Our government is unable to provide clean water to even 5% Population of our Country. The unclean water is the cause of the many diseases in Pakistan.

Our mission is to collaborate with the disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through clean water and basic necessities of life. These young children will have clean water to drink and use for their household.
