Dear Friends,
I am President of SS Heritage LLC. This Gofundme project is to help the City of Kemp Texas create a beautiful butterfly garden to provide a home for the Monarchs on their migration path. So much of the natural habitat has been destroyed due to pesticides and reduction in the natural plains. We are building a habitat to help these beautiful pollinating creatures have a place to rest during their migration. The Butterfly Garden will be located in the City Park in Downtown Kemp . The park will benefit the city by creating an environment for travelers and members of the community to enjoy. It will also provide a location for school children to learn about their natural environment. I hope you will help a struggling small town create a sustainable environment for the butterflies.
