Kia ora whanau and hello everyone, just an update for you all.
 
Thank you to all for the love and support everyone has given my best friend Kylie and her family at this difficult time.

I, Aleisha Hancy, on behalf of Kylie and her family set up this go fund me with the aim to raise enough money to help get our dear brother, son, moko, nephew and friend Jason, back to New Zealand for his final resting place. Due to a family decision, based on the tragic circumstances surrounding Jasons death it was decided that Jason's funeral will now be held in Melbourne. Once this was decided we turned off the donations as Kylie and her family felt blessed enough to have received the amount of donations they had. 

The funds will be used by Kylie's family to cover the funeral costs of their much loved boy.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of Jay Kahukiwa - our son, brother, moko, nephew, uncle and dearest friend.

We are kindly asking for some help to take his body back to New Zealand for his final resting place.

On behalf of Kylie Kahukiwa and her family, I (Aleisha Hancy) would like to ask our friends and family to come together to help raise money to assist with this process. Any donation / koha helps.
