If you remember "Lassie Come Home" then you know this wonderful dog breed. Following our society change away from small family owned farms this very special breed has nearly gone extinct.
There were fourteen (14) of these wonderful dogs who recently found themselves homeless following their owners death in North Carolina. As many of the OTSCA members know, our mission is to revive, protect, preserve and pass-on this wonderful breed. Our goal is to ensure any dog whether in NC or other unknown pockets can receive vet care and are re-homed into loving homes that will cherish the wonderful gift of this obedient and loyal breed.
