Medical for Buddy Lee

On Thursday, February 18th, 911 was called and Buddy Roberson was taken to SRMC. Buddy suffered a massive stroke that affected both, the left and right side, on the back and the left side on the front of his brain.
Friday, February 19th, he suffered two heart attacks and a couple of seizures. CPR revived him (and gave him a cracked rib) and they put him on life support until they ran some scans to find out what was happening.
Tuesday, February 23rd, Buddy was stable enough for testing which told us how badly the stoke affected him. At that time, they were able to begin weaning him from life support.
On Wednesday, February 24th, after they stablized his blood pressure, he was completely removed from life support. Currently, we have no idea how badly he has been affected. We do not know the extent of any brain damage at this time. He is responsive to the family and doctors. He is active with moving his left side. He will squeeze my hand on command. He will remain in CCU for a minimum of 24 hours for observation. He has long road ahead of him. He will require rehab but we do not know how lengthy at this time. I'm just swallowing my pride and asking for help meeting his deductible for his medical as I can't pay it and I know he can't.
I have never used crowd-funding but felt it on my heart to start this for him to help lessen the burden. Buddy has been in my life for 27 years and is my second Dad. I received permission from immediate family to help with Buddys medical bills. I had no idea what to set as a goal, I simply think anything would help. I really hope to at least meet his deductible. I will give these funds to Buddy's nearest realitive (his brother) to cover Buddys medical as they have control. I will update with new information as I get it. I've been visiting him daily and am in constant contact with his brother and sister-in-law who are handling everything. Any questions, just ask. Please continue to pray for his recovery.
