Ms Plus America 2016

Hello all, my name is Kimberly Draughan. Most recently Arizona held its very first preliminary plus sized pageant competition for
the Miss Plus America 2016. I not only just competed , but I won ! I had the highest overall score, for which I earned the title Queen Supreme , I won Miss Photogenic which was an optional category , and I won the state title Ms Arizona Plus America 2016 ! Thank you to all who helped me reach this milestone but I am not finished !
The next step is to travel on to Dallas Texas June 28-July 2nd and bring the national title home to the State of Arizona , the Ms Plus America 2016 title. Yes that's not a typo July 2ndare the finals.
Some of my fees have been picked up because I won the State title , thank you to A Queens Closet. However there are numerous unanticipated expenses that are accruing. Some of the additional fees include additional outfits for additional categories to participate in as well as public appearances which require different specific outfits. Additional photoshotos, Gifts for prior Queens, Video copy of pageant, pageant's T shirt , the opening number outfit, ticket sales, and ad space in the pageant program to name a few. I am also still searching for an MUA and Natural hair stylist to sponsor me from Texas , however there is a fee of 100 per person to have back stage. In addition ,I may require some food ,incidentals, accessories, shoes, and lets not forget the week off work to travel. There are only 3. 5 weeks left, so any and all assistance is GREATLY appreciated ! So many if you have alteady reached out to ask how to help and the support has been overwelming . Many of you did not even know I was participating because I am horrible at asking for help. Due to such short notice, I must now turn to my 6th (wo)man . ( help !) ;) ..I promise to do my very best to bring home the national title in this inaugural year to Arizona. I most recently acquired a pageant coach who has donated her previous time in between her current quest for Miss Arizona USA ! She has been doing pageants her entire life and is now also inspiring me to bring my best inner Queen. She is considering taking thus trip, so and addition 100$ to have herback stage as well IId live to cover for her time .I am so proud to represent an organization which provides a platform for Women of all sizes to feel beautiful and get involved with their community, as well for the state where I have spent the majority of my life.
