For those who have not heard, it is with a heavy heart that I say that my oldest brother Gannon Scott Stewart passed away this past Tuesday evening on August 23, 2016.
As we begin to grieve, we are standing on the promise that God is near to the broken-hearted and will send forth peace for our family during this time and that in all things, even in death, He works for the good of those who love Him.
On behalf of my family, I ask that in lieu of flowers, all gifts of sympathy be directed to this fund for his 8-month-old daughter and light of his life, Asher Lauren. Gannon was a lover of learning, and one thing that he most hoped for Asher's future is that she receive a great education. We will be placing these funds in an account to ensure that she receives the very best.
We invite you to join with us in celebrating his life this Saturday, August 27, at Church of the Highlands Riverchase Campus in Pelham, AL (on Highway 261/Valleydale Road).
Visitation will begin at 11:00am, and the service will be held at 12:00pm.
