Lake Mountain Mesh Tower Site

So here is an update on the mountain top site. After getting all of the details, its around $1400 for all of the paperwork fees. There have been offers to donate equipment, a tower, cables, routers... but the issue is that to move forward with this, we need to rais the money to secure the tower site. I have until July 15 to make a decision on weather or not to lease the tower site, but this is where it comes down to the group. If the site were leased, it would be leased under a club name. this would be a group venture and everyone would have access to the facility. The location is on Lake Mountain, and I believe it is the furthest north location out of all of the other sites. it is an old BLM building that is no longer in use, and we can secure up to a 30 year lease on the building. There is already talk of installing a D-star repeater, High Speed internet Gateway, and maybe a 900MHz repeater. We have plotted the map, and the coverage looks great. all the way down to Spanish Fork, and up well into the Clearfield area. So I turn this over to the group at this point, if we can raise the money by July 15, we will get everything setup, and be running by August. If you are willing to Donate to get this project moving, we can create a Mesh Network to cover multiple counties thanks to this perfect spot.

we have passed the $1400 we needed to secure the lease, and now we just need  little more to set up the solar panels, and battery bank.  so tell your friends, an lets get this site up and running.
