Over the years we have learned that many people feel stuck in the familiar and boring routine of life, lacking clarity of identity, purpose and potential. As a result, we created a revelatory and strategic process that unveils one’s unique natural and spiritual identity that sets the course to design a life they can’t wait to live, while getting to know God.
To share this opportunity with the world, we want to utilize Rob Stoppard’s 17 years of coaching, counseling, speaking and ministry experience to develop a state of the art, online learning experience.
Foundational to this venture will be the establishment of a 501c3 non-profit corporation, “WE ARE THE CHURCH”. You might be thinking, why that name or what does that mean? We believe the Church (also known as the Body of Christ) lacks revelation of Her true identity, purpose and potential. It is time for a perspective change and that is where the name helps us think outside our boxes.
It has become apparent that too often people have limited revelation and understanding of the purpose of the Church because of the absence of the model of mentoring that Jesus exhibited for 3.5 years. They see church as a “place to go” instead of a learning experience that reveals their unique identity as a member of the Body of Christ, the Church. We subscribe that it is through the Church that God provides “on earth as it is in heaven solutions” to our challenges and needs. It is our heart felt desire to see the “small mindedness of church” diminish so that the Church (for which Jesus gave His life) can emerge into Her fullness.
It is our observation that because of doubt, fear and pride “forms of godliness or religion without power” have been developed throughout the generations of the last 2000 years. These man-made attempts at “being spiritual” have quenched the Holy Spirit from working through much of the Body of Christ to do the works of Jesus or even greater things. Please note, we are not suggesting that there is no need for local church gatherings! We are part of a local church body and we help numerous churches and ministries!
It has become normal that in our modern society, technology is our first point of connection with people. It is our hope and belief that in developing a state of the art website, blog, e-books, live streaming, and other online resources, we can spark conversations that lead to personal connection and interaction with each other and God. The goal for each person is for them to awaken to their true identity and live out the full meaning and purpose of the Church.
This effort is a very personal one for Rob, so much so that he has dedicated the next 12 years to what has become "life work" to seeing this vision fulfilled. It is his very heartbeat to mentor people who will then mentor other people all over the world, thereby keeping Christ’s message alive and active for generations to come.
Certainly, this work is nothing new as over 2000 years ago Jesus provided a legacy solution to man’s identity crisis. He mentored 12 men in the ways of the new Kingdom of Heaven life-style. He then invested His life through a death sacrifice to make the legacy solution possible. Jesus commissioned all who believes in Him to go to every part of the world with His message, authority, and power to demonstrate the ways of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Now, at this critical time in history, you can financially invest in the mission Jesus started and actively play a part in advancing the Great Commission. In addition, individuals talented in technology, writing, editing, graphic design, administration and communication have an incredible opportunity to join us in this journey.
