Hello and thank you for clicking the link! I am Kendal McBroom, a candidate running for County Commissioner in Alamance County, North Carolina. Raised in Burlington, I am a son of Alamance County with family roots in Green Level, Mebane, and Pleasant Grove. I am running for County Commissioner to serve as an adovocate for education, sustainable quality of life for all residents, and opportunity throughout the county.
As a graduate of the Alamance Burlington School System, Hampton University (a HBCU), and currently a graduate student attending Duke University Divinty School, I know the importance of education as well the importance of having a solid foundation. Our local schools provide that and must be supported by our leadership. Furthermore, access to quality foods and healthcare should not be the priviledge of the few, but rather a right for all.
