LVAD & Heart Transplant fundraiser

Hi, I'm Joe Wood.  Recently my heart problems have gotten worse, to the point where not even Milrinone (and similar) were helping me out.  At the time, I was waiting for a new heart in the hospital, however I only lasted about a week or so before the meds weren't helping at all.  So because of this, I've had to be put in a Left side Ventricular Assist Device (or LVAD) to wait for a transplant (bridge to transplant).  I'm still waiting for a new heart, I haven't lost my place in line or my transplant status (which is ASAP).

However, the battle is not yet over when it comes to finances, and I'll need some help raising funds.  There's medical bills to pay for both the LVAD and transplant, as well as some (possibly most) of the medications I'll be on once I get the new-to-me heart.  Any donation amount is appreciated, and please don't forget to share this with anyone and everyone you can.
