AmputeeX - Half marathon for ACD!

Donation protected
17 years ago, I became a below-knee amputee. I was never much of a runner, and have not run at all as an amputee, until recently. This 21km represents the third big step in accomplishing a set of events in 2016 that have, and will continue to, thoroughly challenge everything about myself that I previously believed to be true in terms of my body, mind and spirit. I recently completed the Spartan Super in June, the Run Melbourne 10km in July (raising $2.5k for Berry Street), the Melbourne half marathon in October and two further Spartan events in November to complete the coveted Spartan Trifecta.

This set of events is to raise awareness of a number of issues, and to raise funds for awesome organisations. On this occasion, under the social media banner of AmputeeX, I hope  to encourage people to get moving while raising funds for the Association of Children with a Disability (ACD - www.acd.org.au).

I encourage everyone to get in touch with your own deeply personal motivations, and make positive, life-changing decisions on the back of them and show that when we truly ascertain what is important to us, we can do anything we set our minds to.

Please donate what you can but if you can't donate, PLEASE SHARE.  I want to spread ths across people's social media networks.  I have a higher fundraising target this time and need to spread the word!!

Love and gratitude!
