First United Methodist Church of Germantown (FUMCOG) is the Charted Organization for Cub Scout Pack 1719. Due to the Boy Scouts of America's policy, the Pack cannot solicit donations, so we will ask on their behalf!
FUMCOG and Pack 1719 are aware that the residents in Flint, MI STILL do not have clean water and donations have declined over the years. With FUMCOG's support, Pack 1719 wants this to change and here's how they plan to do it with your help:
Increase Awareness. Donations aren't coming in like they used to and the residents still do not have clean water. We hope to inspire people to start giving again!
Donate Cases of Water. All water will be donated to Catholic Charities in Flint, MI.
Raise Money for Shipping Costs and Water Filters. To make sure the residents have a more sustainable way of getting water, we will donate some of the funds to purchase water filters. A portion of the money raised, will cover shipping costs.
FUMCOG asks for your support in helping Pack 1719 be HELPFUL to the residents of Flint and give as much as you can as quick as you can. We hope to ship the donations early October!
