Linden SDA Renovation Project

The Linden SDA School is fundraising to renovate their gym which is utilized by the students of the school (Kindergarten-8th grade) and the South East Queens community. The Linden SDA School believes in acting as a holistic partner to it's   neighboring  community and provides exercise classes during the week to local community members. The gym is in dire need of repair.
The immediate needs of the gym in order to keep providing programming and to encourage healthy living are:

New Flooring 

New Bleachers

Padded Walls 

LED Lighting 

Electrical Panels

Bleachers

Lockers

Plumbing and Renovation of Bathrooms 

Students in grades 6th, 7th, 8th have been redesigning the gym through the STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) for Social Change After School Program at their school through learning Google Sketch-Up. They have already designed a scoreboard, lockers and new flooring for the gym. 
Your donation to this project will provide the following:

1) A safe space for students to learn physical activity in.
2) Help fight health disparities in South East Queens
3) Continue to provide exercise classes to the community
4) Allow for special sporting events in the renovated gym.
