Stetsons Medical Expenses/Burial

We lost one of our beloved Therapy Horses this past Saturday. Stetson was out in the turnout and suffered a life threatening injury to his front leg. We made the hardest decisions any horse/animal owner has to make. We made the decision to send Stetson onto his next journey over the Rainbow Bridge. Stetson has been with us for a little over 3 years and he was loved by all. He enjoyed working with his small riders and adored all the attention they gave him from sweet gentle bathes, to loving carrots and apples. Stetson was one of a kind, his gait was perfect for use as a therapy horse as he provided non verbal children the stimulation they required to open pathways for communication. All his special friends will miss him greatly.  He was surrounded by his humans and was able to say goodbye to his 2 best friends.  There was a Rainbow overhead as we sent him on his journey.  Please consider making a donation to help pay Stetson's Medical Expenses and his burial. During his vet call numerous xrays were taken to be sure of the injury before our decision was made.
