Who we are and what we are doing?
ACE Senior Design 2016 is group of four senior aerospace engineering students at Parks College of Saint Louis University.  We will be competing in the SAE Aero Design East Competition held in Lakeland, Florida in April 2017. This is a student competition where schools from across the world compete in a design competition and fly off. The goal of this year’s competition is to design, build, and fly a remote controlled aircraft that maximizes revenue by carrying the maximum amount of passengers (tennis balls) and their luggage (payload) within a limited power requirement in additon to numerous other design requirements. Flight scoring will be evaluated based on number of passengers carried and associated payload. A design report and  technical presentation will also be evaluated for our overall score.

How the money will be used?
In order to compete at a high level, money will be put towards the $1000 entry fee, building materials/tools, and travel costs.

This project means a lot to us as we would really like to compete successfully and place within the top 25% at competition. In addition, the lessons learned from designing and building this plane will help each of us in our future careers as aerospace engineers. Thanks again for taking our project into consideration, and we greatly appreciate any donation you wish to give!
