Sonoma Crust is a startup catering business scheduled to operate in Sonoma County, California. It has always been a dream of mine to operate a food venture but over the years I have focused on raising my children and supporting my husband, Hakeem pursue his dreams. Hakeem was a wonderful man and I could not have asked for a better husband. He took good care of me and the kids but he suddenly feel ill and passed away in february 2010.
Fastforward 2017, we have since moved to California where I am raising my kids and it is now home for us. We love it here and I feel lucky and blessed to have the opportunity to pursue my love of cooking and entertaining via the creation of Sonoma Crust here in Sonoma County.
last year I launched Sonoma Crust selling gourmet waffle sandwiches at 3 local farmers markets in Sonoma County. The business provided me with the opportunity to meet and serve many wonderful people who were very kind and effusive with praises for our products. It has been a learning process that hasn't been without challenges but our lovely customers who visited us week after week to buy our products gave me the confident to keep moving. Big thank you to all of you, I am very greatful.
Because of our customers patronage and kindness, we are now in the process of taking Sonoma Crust to the next level. We are currently building our catering truck which is slated to launch this Fall. At this stage of the building process, we are fast running out of funds and would not be able to complete the project without help from friends, family and customers.
