Jaime's Medical Fund

Hi, I am the daughter of Jaime Hoots, Cierra McFarland. I am here trying to help my mom and to tell her story. Jaime Hoots was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Large B
Cell Lymphoma at the age of 20. The U.S. survival rate is 80% of people diagnosed live five or more years after being diagnosed. Emotional for just a few moments she knew she would have to deal with this for the rest of her life and crying about it would not do anything to stop it. So she fought and at 22 years old went into remission. With relief she continued to take medicine, but it then appeared again when she was 25 and again at 32. She adopted me and my sister both at 32 years old. Although, I did not know this until I got a bit older. She was already the strongest woman I had ever known. She took in 2 children while being sick and finally went into remission. That was 6 years ago. Just recently she started feeling sick again. She went to the doctor and they told her she had, yet again, relapsed. Our family has been dealing with it as best we can and staying positive. She just recently, on September 8 had surgery to remove two lymph nodes on her right side. Now they have found a large fast growing malignant tumor on the side of her neck. She will have to undergo chemotherapy once again and possibly have surgery to remove the tumor or anymore that appear. She has been there for everything for me and my sister as long as I have known her. She is the strongest woman I know and the only mom I will ever know. She has been battling this horrendous battle for almost 20 years. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and helpful as our family goes through this rough time once again. The money will be used to pay medical expenses of any kind. Anything would mean so much to us, because medical bills can add up very fast.
