Singing for my Surgery

A four year old once wished on the first star in the sky that he would wake up the next morning to be a real boy. I like to think I was wishing on the same star as Pinocchio. Because my wish did come true, but not in the way that I thought it would. I am a transgender man fighting every day to make this world a place where other LGBT kids can grow up proud of who they are. I am a writer, singer, brother, son, friend and am really bad at asking for help.
But I need help now.
My voice has always been my strongest quality, whether in music or in activism, I spend a lot of time using this instrument.
My surgery will cost $8400. I have raised about $2000 so far and have a little ways to go.
Music has always been something I believed could bring people together and has been something I have always turned to in times of need.
I will be Singing for my Surgery.
