Ms. Georgia Plus America 2013
Greetings,
My name is Cha'Kiva Latrell Felder and I am your Ms. Georgia Plus America 2013. This summer, I will be competing for the national title at the Miss Plus America Pageant in Monroe, Louisiana and I would greatly appreciate your support!
The Miss Plus America Pageant System stands on the belief that all women are beautiful, inside and out and deserve a chance to promote those causes closest to her heart with a title worthy of her representation.
As the reigning Ms. Georgia Plus America,
I have been serving my community by mentoring young girls and helping them to build
self-esteem and confidence. Having once struggled with self acceptance, I believe it is my
calling to help young girls navigate confusing messages in the media by engaging them in conversation and activities that identify and utilize their skills and strong points.
I am partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta where I developed the "Real Talk" program for Elementary and Middle School aged girls. I developed the Real Talk program to
provide girls with a supportive environment in which they could talk
about body image and self-esteem. My goal is to help them develop confidence and inner strength so they don't need to strive for superficial, media influenced goals.
Your contribution to my endeavors would be greatly appreciated! Please visit my Facebook page to follow my journey to the national crown. https://www.facebook.com/MsDekalbCountyPlusAmerica2013
