I married Jill in February 2016. I couldn't believe how happy I was. My life felt complete when I moved to Canada to begin my life with my amazing wife.

Tragically and suddenly Jill died in June. I was in hospital myself for 6 weeks. Before Jill died we had sent in our immigration papers for me to have residency in Canada. My spousal visa was turned down in September and transferred to a humanitarian and compassionate visa application.

I am unable to work until I get a work visa approved and cannot get social assistance. I've no money left to live on, as I had transferred all my money to Jill's bank account which was closed when she died.

I managed to survive on what little I had until the end of September but am now left with no money and am living in a homeless shelter in Nova Scotia.

The furniture and all our belongings from mine and Jill's apartment are now in storage, put there while I was still in hospital and I have to pay $138.00 a month to ensure they are kept there and I don't want to lose what little I have left that belonged to Jill and I. I also have to pay for my medications that I need to take daily and for basic hygiene products.

I have no way at this moment to bring in an income, and I need your help please. Jill and I dreamed of our life together, a life that was based in Canada. If you can help I would really appreciate it.
