WGI 2017 - Sara's Age Out!

Hello friends and family!

It has finally come to that point in my life where I must say goodbye to the marching arts. For those of you who do not know, this will be my final year marching, specifically with STRYKE Percussion (PIW) as a member of the cymbal line.

STRYKE is a Non-Profit Organization based out of South Florida devoted to the growth and excellence of the youth in the community through the music, dance and the performing arts. The Percussion Independent World (PIW)  Class Ensemble is comprised of an average of 45 members from the ages of 16 to 22.

*** The reason I am reaching out to you is because this activity isn't cheap.  I work 30 to 40 hours a week and on top of paying rent and driving from Orlando to South Florida every weekend for STRYKE, it makes my budget extremely tight with little room for error. No, I don't get paid to do this activity, but the educational lessons brought from the instructors, the performing venues, and the lasting friendships which I experience are well worth the cost. STRYKE's membership dues are roughly $1500, not including gas, food, and other miscellaneous items.  ***

I am asking for your help in paying these dues. I am so passionate about this group and this activity. Help me march my age-out with STRYKE Percussion, and if you are unable to donate right now just a share would mean the world!
