Hello fellow conscious consumers! We’re Hannah and Metta, two Canadian moms who have a vision of making the world a better place by bringing wholeheartedly ethical businesses to light. Businesses that are run by real people who want to give you awesome products that are truly good - for you, for others, and for the planet.


Shopping for products that do more good than harm is not always easy. The big brands control most of the marketplace, since they have the advertising budgets to show you they’re there, while the small businesses that practice more ethical means of operating remain largely unseen. With the help of consumers who care, we want to change that. What we want to do is create a resource for those of you who, like us, want to support businesses and products that work for the greater good. While not every brand will be able to tick off every item in our ethical ideals checklist, these are the qualities we are looking for in consumable products and services:

Ethical employment - Fair trade, fair wages, no sweatshops, no child-labour.

Locally produced - Based in Canada, we will look to help you find products that are made close to home.

Environmentally sound practices - Minimizing any wastes and emissions. Production without harsh chemicals and substances entering our environment or harming natural ecosystems, and sourcing sustainable materials.

Healthy products - Products made with non-toxic, natural, and safe ingredients, that you can trust to use for yourself and your family.

We’ll do the research to make sure each business is what they say they are so you can rest easy without having to do the leg work.


Why do we need the money? Starting up a successful website takes money and a lot of time. We'd love to be able to do it all for free, but that's not reaslistic. The funds raised will be allocated to:

Domain registration & website hosting
Advertising (we need to let people know we're here)
Accounting software
Social media tools
Logo design
Website design
Content research & creation time
