My push for the Philippines Trip!

Hi! My name is Cooper Stanford, and for the past 3 years I have gone to the Philippines with my church The Marketplace (themarketplace.net.au) and we have done many things including building houses and painting schools. Over the last couple of trips we have seen numerous people come to know Jesus, both on our team and the people over there, and even if you do know Jesus, it changes your life regardless. One of the main things I have been challenged about over the past few years has been the materialism that we possess. As a result, I have tried to be less materialistic. On previous trips I have been aided by my loving parents and members of our church community. but this year I was tasked with raising the whole 1600 dollars by myself. I have currently saved 650 dollars in the last 6 months but I need help to get there as I want to change the lives of these people and be a witness to the Almighty God once more. I also want to walk with the people more, and as a result I am learning Fillipino, which I am quite decent in now. (But don't tell them that, it must be a surprise! :P)



As my Dad has said, Mission trips arent for the saved, there for the people that give a damn!
