Jenny owns and operates a local pet sitting service where I live. Her customers rave about the care she gives to the furry members of their families -- myself included. Jenny is AMAZING with animals and goes above and beyond for her clients. We now have the opportunity to give back.
Yesterday, Jenny's car was broken into and thousands of dollars of hiking, camping, and pet sitting gear was stolen. This included $1200 in cash she was planning to give her mom later that day. She is in the process of filing the appropriate claims with her insurance company, but the deductible on her home owner's insurance is $1000 (for the contents of her car), $500 to replace her broken window, plus there's the $1200 in cash that's gone for good. As you can imagine, this puts a big strain on her finances just as it would most people.
I wanted to do something to help, so I set up this site in the hope that there are others out there who would want to help too. No amount is too small. Together, perhaps, we can help reverse the harm that some scumbag did to a very kind and giving person.
