We are 308 BMX, INC. Our mission is to bring the Olympic sport of BMX to our community. Our children, their families, and our honored veterans deserve a diverse selection of activities and the sport of BMX provides not only a fun alternative, but is also healthy and wholesome for the entire family!
In our inaugural season we will host the BMX racing league . This program was designed by 2008 Olympic Bronze medalist Donny Robinson for true beginners of every age to engage at their own pace and learn the sport of BMX. This will teach self discipline and good sportsmanship. Parents are also encouraged to join their children and learn right along side of them.
We will also become a USA BMX sanctioned track. This will allow us to bring in riders from all over the world to our little community. With riders from all over, our locl riders will learn from others about BMX and how it truly brings people together. BMX is really a family sport and friends will be made for life!
Our sister program, Operation: Dirt Therapy will cater to our honored veterans and their families suffering from PTSD. I myself am a US Army veteran. I fought in the Panama conflict and I have experienced the positive effects of BMX with my own PTSD symptoms virtually disappearing!
Finally, we will step into the community and into our schools with the S.T.E.M program. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) These are stepping stones to help children learn more than just bikes, but they will have fun learning in a proven format!
In 2016 we became a Nebraska non profit corporation and also a 501c3 organization. We are also a proud Gold Star level GuideStar participant and 100% volunteer.
