30$ for 30th!

This July, I am turning 30.


To give myself something to reach for on this occasion, I decided to do a "Challenge." In August, I am racing Challenge Penticton, to start this new decade with a bang... 3.8km of swimming, 180km of Cycling, and 42km of running.


I want to challenge you, on my birthday. I don't want a gift (well.. ok, I kinda do, but I want this more...). I want to challenge you to give 30$ (how old I am turning). OR, the distance of my race: 226$, for my birthday. If you donate 226$, i will make you an african material tote bag.


As you may know, I am part of an fledgling organization
that partners with grassroots initiatives that are aimed at reducing poverty in their community. I love Malawi, and my time there in 2011 was incredibly influential. All the money raised will go towards the projects that are currently in progress, such as the monthly health clinic, the pre-school feeding and education program, and a woman's craft initiative.
