Peachie's Headstone

Two years ago, we lost our friend and hero, Sharon "Peachie" Wiggins. Friends and strangers successfully funded her funeral. Recently, it has come to my attention that Peachie is buried in an unmarked grave and her family is unable to afford a headstone. So, I am asking you, to donate again or for the first time, to ensure that her resting place is dignified.

Peachie is buried at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in Detroit. Her final resting place is Section L, Lot 214, Grave 17. Her headstone will be made by Patten Monument Company in Comstock Park, Michigan. It will be a 24" Rose Granite slant monument with a base. The inscription will read:

Our Beloved Peachie
Sharon M. Wiggins
Feb. 15, 1951-Mar. 24, 2013.

The total cost of the monument and cemetery fee is $2,350.00.

Any amount of donation will be appreciated. I will provide photos of her headstone when it is in place.
