N.a.s.H. -Incredible Villains- Tour

For those of you who may not know, the rock music genre is dying. It's on life support and it has been for some time. For an industry that, as a whole, struggles on a yearly basis, our beloved genre is on a very short list of potentially endangered species. Despite the possibility of a gloomy future, our group navigates within this culture of misfits and miscreants...we are a part of its very artistic collective. We are a rock and roll band called N.a.s.H. Our name, as a band, has existed since 2002 when we blasted our way onto our local music scene. We believe in our music and we believe in music in general. In turn, it is the guiding force in our lives. It transformed us at a very young age and taught us the importance of being creative....even though that may not pay the bills. Joseph, Dylan, James, and myself have worked tirelessly to transform our souls passion into a profitable business. This year we have arrived at that which most are unable to accomplish, given the current state of the record industry. We now have professional representation in the form of a very reputable management firm, EMG, who are now wrapping up the details on our very own and first RECORD CONTRACT!!!!! ALL bands and performers and singers and musicians strive to obtain a record contract. It means different things to different people....to us it represents the start of what we have wanted since we could spell 'metronome'. People will soon be able to purchase our freshman record, "Incredible Villains", as we begin to plan our very first tour with our very first record label!!! As cliche as it sounds, dreams appear to come true. And so, we arrive at why we are here....Though I am sure that this sounds like we are accepting our first Grammy, I would be remiss in my duties as the frontman for this band if i didn't pay homage to the reason why we are even here: YOU. The fans of our band have been a system of support unlike any other we've ever seen. We very much consider our "villains" to be the 5th member of our band. You are the very engine in a complex machine and without you there is no movement or reason for. The four of us can recall the moment when we looked out into the crowd and saw an endless sea of support singing our words back to us. There is no easy way to describe how amazing that feeling is. We need you. You are the inspiration behind every note. You are the reason we exist. And we need you now. As the spring approaches, we are setting up the details of our tour. This tour is pivotal in that it's success will directly affect the success of our record, and the potential for a follow up. As the details reveal themselves through our dealings with EMG, our management firm, and our record label; we are for the first time seeing the sacrifices that will be required in order for success to flourish. We MUST tour with merchandise. It is essential in getting our name out there. And though some of these items are set up by our management company, other small details are left in our hands...and we will not squander or stage our feet. We will need transportation....we want to bring the biggest stage show we can manage....we want to make a video prior to the tour so that new potential villains can get a look at our ugly mugs i we take over their town. The label will provide us with a certain amount of physical copies of our record, as per our agreement, but we don't want to stop their. We want to max it out at every turn. A lot of the things I speak of are things that will be addressed in our record label deal...but as you know, N.a.s.H. refuses to do the minimum. So this, my villains, is why we are starting this page. Every shekel we raise here....every dime you are willing to part with....will go toward the success of this album. And album that is so imprinted with our DNA, as well as yours. We've always been a humble band, but I will tell you this with absolute certainty in my heart: this album, "Incredible Villains", and the album we are deep in the process of writing now, will change things. You will take back our genre the way we dreamed about it. You will make sure that the genre that invented the scream....the devil horns.....the mosh pit....will once again be at the forefront. Help us to keep making our dream real....help us to make the voices of the people matter again. Rock and roll is not dead. It is just sleeping. Now...........let's wake it up.
