My name is Jill Bonahoom. For those of you who know me, you know that this is extremely difficult for me to ask for help. I am asking for financial support and healing thoughts and prayers.
I am healing from Stage 3 Uterine Cancer, which was discovered at the beginning of the year. I am doing well and doing my best to remain grateful, loving and positive as I go through this journey. Because of mistakes on insurance, doctor’s offices, and a hospital, I have a medical debt that is way beyond my deductible. We have used all of our savings up to get through the summer and the start of winter, along with paying for procedures that are not covered on my insurance. I have not been able to work even a third of the time I was before, and now I have a second surgery to do, which will require more recovery time (down time).
I had surgery to remove the cancer and radiation. I also have a few more treatments to finish my healing. Because of the first surgery, I have another surgery to correct the hernia, which is hindering my ability to work. This means another 4 weeks or possibly more; this is because of the radiation, the doctors and nurses say it may take a little longer for me to heal.
I am healing and I expect to be doing even better after the second surgery. I am asking for your help so that I can finish my recovery and treatments, and still pay my bills while I recover from the second surgery.
